A GREAT HOSTEL in a GREAT CITY

In
the heart of Philadelphia's Fairmount Park - the largest
city park in the United States - historic Chamounix Mansion
has welcomed overnight guests and groups for nearly forty
years.
Chamounix (CHAM ' -ah-nee) Mansion
provides clean, inexpensive accommodations
for individuals, families, and groups. Day use facilities
- meeting rooms, kitchen, and dining areas - are available
for workshops and retreats.
Plenty of free parking
is available with ample parking space for buses.
Chamounix
Mansion has an interesting history.
Originally built in 1802 as a private residence, the mansion
rests on a scenic bluff above the Schuylkill River.
Acquired
by the city in 1876, Chamounix Mansion was fully restored
in 1964 as an international hostel and community center.

Chamounix Mansion,
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
All revenues go toward operations, maintaining the historic
